Hi fellow drivers.
I am planning to take a drive up with my F/L pica up to Malacca with 3 other passengers on a road trip. Except for my tires which I have changed to 14" ones, the rest of my pica is still stock, i.e no grounding, no sj.cai done, nothing.
Just wondering if anyone had driven up to Malacca or Genting in the same state as I am? Was the drive up still manageable? Or would it be better to just go up with just one driver + 1 passenger?
Also, if you have driven up to Malacca or Genting, did anyone used the Nokia Maps GPS? Was it accurate?
Thanks!~

Saw a Picanto at Cameron Highlands, let alone of Malacca. Get a full-fledged GPS navigator before the trip. I don't believe hp GPS is that accurate. Malacca has many small and unknown roads leading to kampongs and villages (I fell in the trap while on my way to Han Li Bao's well). A GPS navigator is recommended hence.

yup. i saw picanto at Cameron before, but it was just 2 person. since i am driving, need to be responsible for my passengers' lives mah..
yup, i think a real GPS is a good idea.

i go up genting fully on stock, so malacca on full load is no problem provide u dun speed, cause the road sometimes those curve are very risky. if go up genting will be slow. nokia GPRS i thought need to pay if enter malaysia, different operator rates liao. so get a proper one.

I drove up to Penang almost 3 years ago with my stock Pica, with 3 pax that time too. Mine was just 13" at that time, so not to worry. Also to add on, my pica was speeding at NSH at 160km/h with my 13", so our Pica sure can tahan. But be careful of their TPs, cos I was stopped at a road block after that, so RM50 for their kopi money lo, lol.

hi guys , i will be driving up to Negri sembilan this end march with full load too. Is it a straight road to drive in or do i need to make many turns to reach there? The NSH will take you to Negri Sembilan, but it is a very big place, so how many turns you have to make to go to your final destination depends on where your final destination is....
