Burst my rear tire this morning. Thinking of changing all 4. Any recommendation for 235/65R16 tires? I am using the original rims. Looking at Michelin Energy XM1 215/60R16, Synchrone 235/70R16 or 255/65R16. Any feedback on Toyo tires? Thanks

What kind of tires you are looking for, All Terrain, Off road, or highway performance? From your wish list above, you seem to be looking at comfort inclined road tires....

Last week, I just change to Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S, 225/70R16. These are all terrian tyres, going off-road is so much better. Noise level, I find it no diff from my previous H/T tyres.

Pretty cool - I was thinking of going for larger tyres too. Do you have any contacts to trade in mine which is the stock KUMHO 235/60r16 - 2 months old tyres (ride is 2 months old only) and Nitrogen filled?

Hi Bros, Finally I also changed my tires..... 215/70/R16 Didn't go for the AT tires though, this one is only for highway... Bcos I dun go for off roading.... This is definitely quieter than the stock tires... Not sure about the grip yet, didn't KAP KORNER yet... Here is the link if you wanna know more about it.. www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/products/car/treads/d680.asp

Zaw,
You better think twice abt getting this Geolandar A/T. These tyres cannot speed, when it reach abt 140KM/H, it become rather unstable. Braking at this speed is not effective too.
But, I like it. This is the only way to stop me from speeding. I'm not sure if it's still the electronic problem or the tyre problem. Thc FC seems to get worse. Now 1/2 tank gone, and it reads only 115KM. Jialat.

Hmmm... Actually i did not compare Yoko and Bridgestone. First, Bernard introduced and recommended this to me and i liked the v groove thread on it... Further more having 215 width is definitely a good choice, I am seeing major improvements in my fuel consumption already. The steering feels more responsive and the grip is good (Yesterday I managed to filter out of the CTE Havelock exit bend at XXXkm/h without any problem or noise from the tires, SMS me if you wanna know the actual speed, just in case there are TPs in this forum ). I also called Kit to double confirm that 70 thickness can fit before i called to order the tires... Road noise and bumpy ride also reduced... By the way i am not working for bridgestone or getting paid by them....

1/2 tank gone, and it reads only 115KM That mean 1L = 4KM Congrats you break your record again - Sportage FC champaign I getting bridgestone DuelerAll Terrain D694 either 235/60R16 or 235/70R16. But I worried about the tyre rub. Now a day must slow down .

This is the tyre I put on my Sportage, Yokohama Geolander AT 11. It has been fantastic, I have covered 25,000 miles on them and they work great in rain, shine, mud, sand, snow, gravel, stone and flood. (PS I work in quarrys and open casts so i needed the grip) I havent had any problems on road either 300-400 miles a day with out any loud road noise. I will definatly get these again. (100% better that the original Michalin)

I am also thinking of changing my tyres. So fast, already 1.5 years already. Hope Cedric or Bernard gives some feedback on their tyres performance.

I use the highway everyday at 180km/h so, if this Geolander can withstand the speed, I'll probably will get it.

Mine's Geolandar A/T-S. Not really stable at even 140.
If you're into speed, should not consider A/T tyres at all.
