Dear experts, anyone pls enlighten me on how cold air intake works. How does it help in our pica after installation. How much it cost to install a cold air intake for our pica.

A pipe will be drilled through the bumper of your car. It will take in the cooler and denser air from the outside into your engine. Cooler air enables better fuel consumption = better FC and PS.

if i'm not wrong, PS refers to Pferdestärke = horse strength ( German )
which is 0.98632 bhp (SAE)
simply put, improve power... =) there's also something called RAM effect.. but that's not much cuz we don't really go that fast, mostly negligible....

SJ-CAI is done by a bro called whitesnail. Never see him in this forum, but know he active in getz n other forums. Think its designed by him. Tried on my old getz 1.1m. Not too exp and power gain can feel.
Anyone driving pica did the SJ-CAI? that will be my next performance mod.. hehe together with heat shield air box.

Done the heat shield, grounding and SJ-CAI with whitesnail...very good performance and much better pickup. Need less pressure on the accelerator.

The difference is the tip of the SJ-CAI, normal CAI only an opening, for SJ, there's something else connected at the opening. Try next week, he might not be in singapore. as for the price, i forgot, best that you check with Jason aka whitesnail.
