In recent months (or at least for the past 1 yr), we have seen quite a number of pica owners dressing up their rides, esp after the new wave of FL picas. This is a good sign and opportunity to show other car owners on not juz wat a small car can impress or how a car can be dressed up into a comfort cabin.
These car owners have done esp K-cars owners proud. To quote a few, recent owners like TooT, Dotdot, Jayce, Orangepica, Dodopower, Jerlyn, Smurf, etc (i'm juz quoting a few, doesnt mean the rest arent nice) hav done up their rides very nicely with their own unique theme.
So wat make a car looks good and impressive? I had mentioned in one of my previous post that owners have to consider their theme properly. Be consistence and dress up ur ride in accordance to the desired theme. Though i had also always mentioned that 'Each ride have their own beauty', consistency is a very impt factor in making a ride looks gorgeous. Ppl have to have the split-second impression on wat theme ur ride is 'playing'.
Furs, feathers, blinks, lights, seat covers, luxury accessories, etc. These are standard items ppl will put in their rides for decors. Rem, decor them in accordance to ur theme. Dun juz buy these items cos u like them, or worst, cos of the simple sake that other picas have them in their ride. Some items may look nice on other rides but may not (suit) urs.
Not every ride is dressed up similarly. Even when mine and Maxred are somehow similar previously, the main diff is stil our colors (white and red). Choice of accessories and their colors (in the case of furs, feathers, lights, etc) is also very impt. Some may have their own preferred or fav colors but at the end of the day, does it suits ur ride's decor? Definitely u would prefer ppl to say :" wow! nice interior/decor!", rather than ppl thinking in their heart :"yucks!"
Sports, VIP, cute, fierce, etc are some of the common themes ppl play. Be sure that u have done ur research after deciding on the theme u like. Start planning on wat accessories u would wanna buy to dress up and where are the possile placement of these accessories which will best brings out the theme of ur ride. Some may like to have a combo of theme. Can! But be sure that u blend it well exteriorly and internally. If u think that u cant blend it well, drop the idea! Eg, Exterior Sporty looks + classy interior looks. Can be done, as long as u dun over do it.
Over doing of decor might spoilt the looks of ur ride even if u are consistence in ur theme. Too much furs/feathers/blings, will somehow lose the 'appeal' of the looks. Take the above Sporty/Classy example. If u are playing a combo, u will need to tone down on ur decor (since u are not playing full theme). Dun make ur ride too fierce on the Sporty side, and dun dress up ur interior too elegant on the Classy side.
Juz a sharing thots with all dres-up enthuasiatics. Enjoy the process and have fun. Be proud of ur ride and go venture out for more fun after dressing it up. Competitions, gatherings, etc are very valuable sources of idea sharing and innovations. Cheers!
