Hi guys, newbie here. keen in booking the k5! I had test driven but find that the road noise is quite evident. What u guys think?any1 intend to do sound proofing? yes, road noise is on the high side. I think is due the noisy Nexen stock tires. Sound proofing will help to eliminate abt 20~30% ..... I would suggest you swap out with quiet tires 1st...

hi there, how much u spent on the soundproof? So far does it affect ur fc? Can pm me the soundproof workshop? I only soundproofed the 4 doors to enhance the midbass. No impact to the FC. To curb road noise, target the wheel arch and floor pan will be more effective...weight increase will be more significant if you do tat... I did it at Nam Huat, 1st time trying them coz it is near my office. I would rate them as average, difinitely better than Silent. I would prefer SoundWerkz which i've tried, more pro. They have shifted to sing ming, not convenient for me.... I think it cost abt $160 per door (inner and outer door skin) with korean material. Dynamat will cost abt > $300... There are many installer that do soundproofing, do compare their pricing to decide.

Hello, has anyone lowered your ride? I do find K5 pretty low as compared to other sedans...or is it me getting old..... If u don't mind scratches from the speed hump or steep carpark ramp, check out this website, got lowering spring and other interesting stuff, 1 of the best accessories site for K5 I've seen so far www.superichmotors.com/front/php/category.php?cate_no=221There are a few negative reviews about their services from US website regarding long delay, wrong item etc.... I've not try them before, no comments....

Bro, what's the trade-in deal? Can share? The original wheels are nice but the every K5 will then look identical except for colour.

Ya, ya you are right bro, far far away can tell even from opposite road a K5 coming. I got a set of 18" aftermarket rims (use back tires) and paid $700.00 (they took my original rims). Quite a good deal. Its lighter, so guess better FC.

How come seats look like fabric? I think the ventilated seats need bigger pores for better airflow bah.... or purely aesthetic to mix fabric with leather the factory stitching looks better than our local fitted wan
