Nice make over. Yours OPC? How do we go about removing the plate so that the bumper can be change? Yup mine is OPC. For the plate of my ride, the front actually very easy to take out as the "locked" nut was actually locked on a small metal piece about 10" long and screwed into the internal of the original bumper therefore just need to unscrew it from the bumper and the plate can be removed with the locked nut still intact. As for rear plate, the locked nut was locked into the chassis rear bonnet then no choice I have to leave it there, cover with masking tapes and spray. Meaning that if I take out the plate, the orig colour will be seen....

Just curious...Ur car is V1 around SFX series?...I'm sure ur car hav gone for plate inspection b4 ur makeover...u didn't encounter any problem? ...Coz my OPC plate was orginally installed same like urs...screwed onto ori bumper (by C&C authorised OPC plate installer)...but during my 2nd yr plate inspection, they asked whether I've tampered wif my plate..after checking their records, they found out it was the installer's fault..immediately asked me to go to the authorised shop in Sin Ming to get it rectified, FOC..the correct way is to weld the metal piece onto chasis and they use black kind of tar to seal it...

Yup, mine is V1 series reg yr 2005. I have gone thru 4th VICOM inspection and all went thru without a single complain. But that is before I modded my ride. Lets see if next year inspection dunno what will happen... touchwood... According to my BK installer, they only found one tiny screw on the metal piece to secure it. Guess C&C OPC plate installer take shortcut. Hope I don't get into trouble becoz of this...
