my aircon used to be quite cold when on 1, but recently not very cold liao....anyone know whether we need to top up e gas or what? being driving for 3 yrs plus liao....last rd go CAS svcing, they ask me whether wan consider change compressor...$600+..wah lao...but don't think so serious as on higher still cold after a while... anyone can advice? wah...3 years time to top up gas and do a servicing also. As gas leaks and is replaced by air, it mixes to form a corrosive material which eats up your condenser. Hence not good to let the aircon gas level drop. I suggest you try to top up gas first for low cost solution. If can afford it, do a chemical wash of your condenser. cheers
