Go Paya Ubi techpark. There's a few shops to compare with.
My opinion... 18" rims looks really nice on sports cars / saloon cars / MPV, however, not as "pretty" on a SUV. But there're some exceptional like Murano or CX-7 which I consider those bling bling or Pretty SUV will look good on those big rims. SUV suppose to be a garang vehicle, 16" + thick tyres looks better. Sportage look more garang.

Ooohh... Butterflies decals + blings. Ok, you're at Tampines area. I stay @ Bedok area. If u see a black Fortuner honk u. That's me. 18" waste petrol lah. But, if u like it. Who cares? Life's short, like it, go for it. But, believe it or not, somehow or rather, you'll regret after a year or less I meant 16" with thicker tyres look better. Then again, it's own preference afterall. My previous Sportage's tyres size is 225/70/16 In fact it's overall 1.5" taller after putting on this set of tyres.

Hi butterfly,
I totally agreed with Kit71, in fact I'm using 225/70/16. So far its serving me well and best of all it looks like 17" or 18" althought is 16".

oh yes ... i have 2 pcs of 17" x 7" five spoke deep dish sports rims for sale at SGD88 a pair ...
it is good for those who wanna have a wider and bigger tyres and rims for the rear and smaller rims and tyres for the front which will give your ride a nose down "garang" look ...

Sportage owner hardly join KIA Club meetups. There's only one time since 2005. And that was abt 12 Sportages.
But, we do have "private party" occasionally among ourselves.

hm..sm ppl say cos tyres heavy more petrol used..Some ppl say bigger tyres will cover more distance based on the circumference thingy.. Bigger tyres will bring higher FC... of course. (Personal experience) Bigger tyres will not only cover more distance, also bring yr vehicle faster ;D e.g. after changing tyres from 235/60/16 to 225/70/16. Speedo show 80KM/h, when you're actually 100KM/h. Again, it's personal experience, tested at NSH with Zaw. So if kanna speed ticket, don't yaya papaya and argue. ;D

Yeap..
235/60/16.. 235 means the width of tyre. 60 mean the thickness of tyre. 16 means the size of rims.
It's always the case, ladies do not know abt all these. I overheard something abt ladies saying 34E, what's that actually??

yesterday i saw one white sportage using deep dish 18" rims ... tyre size 245/50/18 .... extremely chio!!! looks very high class ... more high class than those toyota harrier with skinny tyres ... i so jealous .... bigger is better ... who says size does not matter ... i heard if a lady says that size does not matter .... she is lying through her teeth ,,,

kit71 ... i sure hope that we are still on the subject of rims ... actually sportage original rims not that small ... and best sportage oredi comes with fatter tyres 235/65/16 when compared to its twin sister of different mother ... that is the Tucson ... (pronounced as too-sawn not Tuck-sern) which comes standard with 215/70/16 from dealers ... i am sure that your wife is much happier now than before since yours now is much bigger and longer ... my wife also did ask me to upgrade my thingy ... but she prefers PRADO becos its bigger and longer than FORTUNER ... anyway these SUVs can fit big rims with ULTRA FAT MT tyres ...

i guess your car will be with the new facelift ... where the fenders is the same colour as the car body and has twin exhaust pipes... bery nice ... there is only 2 garang colours for the sportage that is white or black ... what colour is yours??? first upgrade are rims and tyres ... it will personalize your car to you and you only .... next will be the rear lamps change to euro type etc. etc. etc. remember its your canvas so its your painting .... cheers! oh yes beware of kit71 ... last heard he was awarded the title of "cheekopek'
