Hi Joey, When is the promo end? Would like to service mine next month as my KIA Rio is touching 23k. Pls reply....Thank you It is a while-stock-last promo. I ordered 200 cartons of ESSO and Mobil about 3 months ago and now had depleted 50%. By the rate it is going, I estimate should last until after Chinese New Year. An early Gong Xi Fa Cai to you. Hi Joey I've got a question. Is there any difference in engine performance if you use a 0w-40, 5W-40 or 5W-30?
Thanks.

Hi Joey I've got a question. Is there any difference in engine performance if you use a 0w-40, 5W-40 or 5W-30? Thanks. Forget about the xW, its for 'winter'. We only refer to the 2nd set of no. The lower the no, the lower the viscosity (more watery). Therefore, the lower the no, the lower the lub resistance to moving piston. Therefore, you will feel that there is higher power. Rightfully, by itself, Engine oil don't give you better power. But it will cause resistant to your moving pistons and thus may lowered your power. For Korean cars, although the manual specification for CVVT is xx-30, but I found that xx-40 is still a better oil. This is because I find that xx-30 oil gets contaminated easier and its protection level is not as good as xx-40. For xx-30 oil, you may feel the power, but you will also notice that the engine is more rough, vibrates more. I don't like that. Thanks and safe driving. Joey Lim

Just went for a major service package at AMK branch yesterday and I must say I'm very impressed with the service provided by the staff (Ah Hua was friendly and competent in knowledge) Will definitely go back for my next service and hope there'll be more good promotions when the time comes!

Hi Devilcup,
There is no ECU Scanning for normal service unless your Engine Check Light turns on or you experience so problem.
Thanks and safe driving.

personally i have not done any servicing at Joey place. but intro a friend there and went down. was impress on the skill they have there. Friend spend quite abit there on his 4 yr old machine, but fault identify was really genuine example like break pump leaking, fan belt crack ect. sorry to say we did a cold call to other shop to compare price. and all quoted 5-10% more then what my friend had paid for. Upzz for you Joey.

Upzz for you Joey. Thanks for your support and compliments. We work hard and will always want to do an honest living. May I add that we only identify problems that are real and need to be solve. We don't tikam tikam. Even if you send our invoice to another shop and they quoted cheaper, I am sure if the car was sent in for repair and troubleshooting (without sending it to us for checks earlier), the bill may be higher then us cos of the tikam effect. We thank you for your support and hope to serve you in the near future. Thanks and safe driving. Joey Lim

Hi Joey.
Think it's time for me to change my battery after driving my Cerato 06 till today. How much do you charge for it? What if I just buy the battery directly from you?
Thank you.
