Hi,
paiseh, if im asking for something that's been talked about before.
Just wondering if any bros out there who are driving the Forte SX that's originally at 17inch, changed the rims/tyre to 16inch?!
currently, the SX 17 is at 215/45/17, im thinking of changing it to 205/50/16 or 205/55/16.
As im not well verse about the technical stuff, just wondering if its doable? cos I understand the Forte EX version is running on 16inch rims.
thanks Allen

i think its doable.. as long as if you're rims not gonna have great offset where it will hit your fender. I changed mine quite recently, offset too much then when I carry 4 people, the tyre hit fender. Im using 225/45/17.. Changed to a better offset and problem solved!
205 i think would be safe for you. but just beware of the rims offset!

Hi
Just to share, I have swapped mine stock 17-inch same as yours for 16-inch rim and ride is more comfortable though u loose a bit in turns of body roll during hard & fast cornering...but good enough for normal drive. Right size if u downgrade is 205/55/16 to ensure ratio remains the same. Also, next time it will costs u less when u replace the tyres!
Hope above helps!
Cheers Tan
