Hi Guys I’m doing in interest check. Would you guys been keen to try out 1) Fuel Rail cleaning 2) Throttle Body cleaning Well, If your car is 3years old and above or your mileage is above 20, 000km – 30, 000km , your fuel rail lines are probably littered with deposits. Ever wondered why sometimes you don’t get the same fuel economy compared to when you drove out of the showroom?
Does you ride feel as smooth as before?Fuel Injectors are located at the Fuel Rail line. The job of fuel injectors is to spray a very fine mist of fuel. If the injectors are clogged/ dirty then the injectors would probably just squirt fuel. This would result in fuel not being efficiently burnt, which will hurt your car’s fuel consumption. In summary
1. Dirty fuel injectors would most probably hurt your car’s fuel consumption.
2. You may experience a rough idling.
3. During light acceleration, you may experience that you can sometimes “stumbles”.
4. You will not experience peak combustion because of dirty fuel injectors.I've attached a picture of the 3M cleaning solventCloser picture of what it statesMy service in detail.Throttle body cleaning -I would be basically the spraying of the throttle body plate/ butterfly with appropriate TB cleaner Fuel Rail cleaning would consist of flushing the rail line with a high pressure cleaning solvent by 3M. This cleaning does not involve removing the fuel rail line, as we would use a specially designed cleaning kit to flush all particle buildup. The service would take 30 to 40mins and be done at a multiple storey carpark. Areas include: North Central East I'm creating a GB for this service. I would require 5 names to confirm. Price: $117 (Promo Price)

Erm, pricing to choose?
1) Fuel Rail cleaning Buy Redline Fuel Cleaner at less than $20.00 settle already
2) Throttle Body cleaning Take out whole throttle body to clean or just spray the mouth? Can DIY if just by spraying the butterfly valve. If take out whole throttle body, WS can do.

Hey bro, Well the throttle body cleaning i'm talking about is basically the spraying of the butterfly valve. It doesn't involve the extraction of the trottle body. Fuel Rail cleaning would consist of flushing the rail line with a high pressure cleaning solvent by 3M. This cleaning does not involve removing the fuel rail line, as we would use a specially designed cleaning kit. Just to clarify, the redline fuel cleaner you mentioned, would be poured into the petrol tank right?

yup the redline fuel cleaner is pour into the tank. how do u do the flushing of rail line? Bro i'm able to get a specially designed kit, which connects to the rail line at one end & the other end I would connect the 3M cleaning solvent. Basically after i've hooked up the kit, I will let the car idle for about 30mins (while the solvent finishes up). During this 30mins the car is idling, your would be able to observe black exhaust fumes coming out of the car's rear.

so this is use once and throw away..or? Bro, i think it would be easier to understand it if you conceptualise this to your regular engine oil change. I'm providing the service, which in theory is like your engine oil change. Just that my service is only required once every 4 - 8 months The service would include throttle body cleaning and fuel rail line cleaning. i hope this helps. Btw help me click the pricing that you are comfortable with I'm curious!

Well if there's a good response I'll start a group buy for the servicing. I'm here to do market research. Stay tuned for more pics. Btw, thanks for asking questions, feel free to ask more if you have any and I'll try to answer them!

Is it harmful to the engine in anyway? Quite interested... Hey bro, so far there hasn't been any faults. The way I usually work is I'll plug in a OBD scanner and run a system diagnostic scan before doing anything... I'll inform the owner of the results of the scan ( any error codes etc) ... After the cleaning service , I,ll allow the car to idle for while and run the scan again.. I think what's harmful, is all that sludge in your engine get it cleaned!

fuel rail cleaning can only be beneficial. unless the rail pressure when cleaning is too high (which is unlikely) then it will pose problems.
or the solution used corrodes the pipe (which again , this is 3M)
but hor...... wah i compare this to a $16 Redline fuel system cleaner... like abit big difference.. though i am certain this has much more benefits than a mere pour-in-the-tank voodoo drink

aaur4man : During the cleaning, appropriate pressure which can be controlled will be used I think we all can trust 3M to do it's job. In fact, 3M cost more for me, but I'm paying for the assurance because it's damn established. In fact, after my cleaning, you don't have to waste $16 bucks on your fuel cleaner. Anyone else interested??

Really, i think for S'poreans it largely depends on pricing, usually more than anything else!

Really, i think for S'poreans it largely depends on pricing, usually more than anything else! You got a point! I was thinking of doing a group buy for this service at a launch price of $70. But I need at least 15 names to kick off. Any thoughts anyone?

$70 seems alright to me........ reasonable enough for a first try i am certain it will be better than using the redline.... but how much better.... only after trying it then i will know... if it is good i will surely put up a solid review kekeke.
