I think we can forget about the rest of 4 biddings. From my view, it is not going to come down anytime. I don't have any intention to change car so soon already. I think better keep my current car, save more to get conti when COE prices come down. Haiz.. I think I must be real stupid to buy a korea car at nearly 120K.

Haiz.. I think I must be real stupid to buy a korea car at nearly 120K. Seriously, I beg to differ though. Korean made are value for money, offering what you find in a conti car at a lower pricing. Considering the maintainability, service etc, overall much more easy on our pocket.

Sportage is around 120K. So 120K-70K= 50K. Look, Sportage is worth the price. But I'm not going to pay $70K to PAP. KNN, paper worth more than a car. Am I committing suicide now? I'm not hard up for a car now. My current FD is only 4.5 year old. I dont see a hurry to cut my throat by paying so much COE to PAP. Just let the richy barker cut each other throat by paying more COE to PAP.

Nope. 3 tries fail. 3 more to go. KIA seems not interested in the high COE. Of course from the business point of view, I understand. But at least the bid price should not differ by nearly 10k. Seriously, I think my next 3 tries also dun look too good. Sianz 1/2.

Haha.. either you top up or just leave it to wait for returning of deposit. I'm 101% sure that you will not get your COE secure unless you opt for open cat (top up, I mean). Haizz.. Crazy COE.

Was talking with my CO over this. She also agree with me not to do any topping up. Unless KIA can confirm with me a top up of 1k can confirm a COE but..... dun think so. Heehee. I guess we will just roll along. If any of our next 3 bids successful, good. If not, too bad. We will carry on with our present vios. Unless strike a big time 4D or toto.... I think the new sportage is a good buy but the COE simply makes it out of the question.
