hi ACE. can check with you CnC labour charged you $250 just for changing timing belt only?? Or does it include labour for changing bearing and water pump gasket??? cos from what i know CnC like to charge different labour charge for different component changed. Mine milage now is abt 74k liao.. Tks! $247.50(b4 GST)... include everytin... timin belt... water pump... water pump gasket... iddlin adjuster bearin... etc... (cant remeber e rest) but not inclusiv of ur norm 3 belts... meanin aircon, steerin n alternator... if u keen PM me den i tell u who 2 look 4... coz C&C officially will not n do not allow u 2 bring ur own parts coz ey say ey dnt wana b liable in case ur part is faulty...

mine 75K already. Been hunting for a workshop to change my timing belt. timing belt set package (inclusive of belt etc etc) I got quoted near lavendar is $300+. Wondering any better price elsewhere i was quote 500 RM for the changing of timing belts and the bearing and so for....inclusive of labour... btw 71 k mileage is it due for timing belt change? and may i ask whats the agar agar range of changing the timing belt? Break down, Parts - RM 380 labour RM 120 = TOTAL RM 500

Go here to change your belts, i changed mine there. Nice chap who used to work in Singapore and now open his own shop. Honest with reasonable pricing. I forgot the name of the shop, but his shop is the only car repair workshop(there is another shop there that sell rims and accessories and im not referring to that) there and its beside a provision shop. Don't worry about him trying to find faults with your ride and asking you to change this and that, cause he won't ask you to change something that doesn't needs to be change or can be repaired and reused. Just tell him the stock broker with the white cerato intro and he will give you a good price. Attachments:

Sorry for necroposting.
Would like to know if anyone went for a timing belt replacement package recently and how is the pricing like? Mine is already due and should be doing sometime next week.

Luckily it doesn't snap on the mountains. Hah.
Anyway, it's still drivable but at the same time you work those biceps as well. No more power assisted steering.
