I just send my car to C&C for my 10k service just now. Checked with them, it will cost $1.5k to add the Sorento DVD player, change to 2x active headrest with monitor and the installation. It comes with 1 year warranty but the original car warranty not void. Price seems steep but expected it since from agent. I worried that install aftermarket although cheaper with better brands (hopefully, quality too) but if make spoil the electronics like the bluetooth etc. then die since warranty will be void. C&C do at least got peace of mind. what do u guys think?
By the way, from the show-room, I spotted Sorento no more active headrest with monitor, no more dvd too. Sportage got reverse camera with a extra rearview mounted on the existing one for the reverse camera. I was quoted $1.5k for the reverse camera. Crazy price.

Warranty gives you peace of mind. But C&C give you crap of sounds. Pioneer DVD which comes with the bluetooth. You only need a hardware to connect your steering wheel control to DVD player. I don't see any bluetooth breaking down in terms of hardware. So why are you worrying about warranty. This is my saying, want to zhng, don't worry about the warranty. If you scare, then stay stock. You see that kungfu panda, zhng here zhng there, no worries one. Once he grow tired of this car, he is changing to Evoque or Q7. To him, these 2 models are entry car only.

Ya la, 1.5K and get crap sound, might as well dont zhng. C&C also kanna sai la, change little bit things also void warranty, then rims, tyres, leather seat also cannot change la, air freshener also cannot put la cos will spoil aircon la.

To all my Sportage Bros here, over a couple of mths, I have faithfully recorded my FC and costs and finally a breakdown. This will be useful for those who travel alot ( I avg 110km per day). Parameters to consider: Only Shell fuel; price/L may vary abit over time; use UOB card; everytime pump almost to brim by myself; never control foot 1) V-power ( Avg 5 pumps ): FC- 8.58 Km/L, 3.61 km/$1 or $0.28/km 2) 98 ( Avg 5 pumps ): FC - 8.53 km/L, 4.01 km/$1 or $0.25/km 3) 95 ( Avg 11 pumps): FC - 8.81 km/L, 4.48 km/$1 or $0.23/km Well guys, look like for Shell fuel, 95 is the winner. OK, V-power seems to give better response according to my butt-feel but if u travel long distance, $ more important than butt feel. Compare V-power to 95 in my case of about 110km travelled per day, that is ($0.28 - $0.23 ) x 110, I save $5.50 per day. Dun count weekends, Mon to Fri, I can save $27.50 and 4 weeks I save $110. Shell 95 wins! Haha.

Bros, u all think I very free har???!!! Haha.
OK... not I dun want to do. My house there has Esso and my work place has Caltex. But these 2 petrol kiosk pumps are different from the Shell near Lot 1. The trigger very hard so unable to control pump to brim, will easily splash out. If you go by the "tiak" then stop pumping, there is actually still alot more to pump so calculation not accurate.

Ocean, you & I are talking about the same Esso. The trigger is very soft. Only Ron 92 trigger is hard. I know that as I've been using Ron 92. Poor man like me cannot afford Ron 95 & above. But I know Ocean is using Ron 98. He feed his car with good stuffs. He told me anything below Ron 98 is not interested.
