Guys ,your opinion require........ Any suggestion that we can repair ,replace that can be done in tandem[same time] so as to safe on the labour cost....... e.g....replace timming belt /bearing together with water pump al-though you khnow it`s not damage.....

Usually, the mechanic will recommend this and that. Like for example, my last ride, mechanic said need to change the engine belts ($45).....and then since changing belts might as well change the pulley guide ($90). I say NO....change belt ONLY. He insist, I said why ?? The guide (it is actually a disc that guide the belt) got wear and tear mark lor....So I say, guide the belt of course got mark....so little only. He insist......I say I WANT TO CHANGE CAR ALREDI LOH.....Change if it is FREE. The rule here is try not to go more than 100% over original budget. Change only if needed. If mechanic make threat of TOTAL ENGINE FAILURE IF DON"T CHANGE then....it is time to change mechanic loh. If it will results in Total Engine Failure....Mechanic will not need to tell you in the first place lor....just change talk later. Guys ,your opinion require........
