Hi bros, Can i check with you all. My auto pica ..everytime morning i started my car then its on P right? To drive off i had to enage to D. Everytime i i wan to change to P to D .. the shift is hard i had to use alot of strength. why izzit so?? Im so worry! HELP!

whats ATF? i take car first day nv go servicing .. only service aircon gas topup, air filter (new) and aircon filter(new), install center lock at $18, life-curtain, visor and no more. =) all at vim auto.
Please advise bro.

Things to note.
1) Engine oil 2) Auto Transmission Fluid 3) Engine Coolant
Yours is 40k, should need to do one major servicing. U can source around either in this forum or google for servicing package.
When u take car one? Drive so long never go servicing? Pengz...

No la bro, i jus bought 2nd pica abt 1month its an OPC. seller service at 40k .. i used 1k. now is 41k. But i not sure if seller got service Auto Transmission Fluid anot. i thing this is not major right? Auto Transmission Fluid how to know when must top up? bonnet ah?

Pica's AT is quite weak and easily spoilt.
Instead of guessing the issue, I would suggest you check it out at workshop. My workshop is alittle expensive, but they will check properly and would not "chop" you, if you interested, PM me for contact.
ATF has to be change at 30k or 40k, cant remember. But I changed mine at 10k when i was still with my pica, brake fluid changed at 8k, full syn change at every 10K or 6mth.
Play safe than waiting for things to happen.

Mine is new f/l model, but it seems that I also have this problem.. It goes on and off.. What I think is that there is a catch or something on the auto gear.. If it is engaged properly, that it's easy to shift from P to R and below.. If it's not, then it can shift, but it will be a hard shift.. Quite scary sometimes.. But I don't think it's a major problem.. It has been like this since day one..

i can say, most seller is never going to do full major service for you if they going to sell off their ride.
Why spend the money yet not utililizing? But there are still good seller lar:)
IMO, just send it in to good workshop to do a major service for ease of mind. You wont want to wait until half way stalled/spoiled then action right?

How much for change of ATF? ATF is Auto Transmission Fluid = I changed mine to Redline D4 @ $80. If AT gearbox problem, price is 3K to 5K

I just kanna chop by premier Auto@sin ming. Mine under 1 yrs warranty. charge me $150+ for changing fully syntec..oil and oil filter. In the list they put so many point to check, all bluff one sia.
After this servicing I'm not going back again. If I go outside do servicing only $78, change oil + oil filter.
