Brake disc provides better stopping power than drum brakes. More so if you using oversized brake disc with 6 pot caliper. conversion is a very costly affair cuz a lot of parts to change. max rim size most owners have is 17' or i could be wrong, anyone with 18' or 19' which will be sweet but a real effort for our cars' torque to deal with.

Advisable for the front for front engine cars.. The rear can just use better friction pads..

I think there's only front pair upgrade.. But need to modify the bracket.. As there's no direct fit BBK locally unless u import..

so can i change my rear drum brakes to disc? will it be better and effective? Nt an easy task bro..and wld cost quite a bit...quite alot of work to do..including the handbrake mechanism shd change oso I tink.. ...But if still really want to do, shd try to find rear disc brake assembly from a later model Cerato..at least the modification not so drastic..maybe can find an accident vehicle at the scrap yard?...

so Cerato can change bigger brake kits for front only? any to recommend? damage? Front brakes shd be bigger...Like Bonzz said, it's abt the brake bias...the front brakes shd lock up first before the back to avoid losing control of vehicle..but the other day I saw an Altis with monoblock 4 pots or maybe even 6pots (coz quite huge) for both front and back...Blue calipers indicate 'Silent'...not sure if he will hav problem doing hard braking..

I think change only the front pair to Sa bigger ones and the front stock can move to the rear, If you wanna to convert drum to disc not that easy you need to get the whole rear left and right axel too. Saw my friend did his wira in J.B around $rm 600.

Bro, not that I am preventing u to do so.. But the stock rims is heavy.. Better to change to a new lighter set with the design and color u wan.. Bro Mars changed his stock Advanti rims for a new set of black and red lining rim.. Looks good..
