Ok bros! Just went to Defu Lane for my 5000km servicing today and I told them abt the bad smell. They checked and said the foul smell actually comes abt when we put air freshner in the car. Then the cooling coil recycles the air again causing the bad smell to come out. So advice given is dun put air freshner. Hmm.... Dunno if its true...

Dunno if its true... since I first started driving 15 years ago, I have never used air freshner in my car. Reason is I do not like the continuous scent and once its in, even if you remove it, there remains a stale smell within the cabin...so far the car no smell. except on hot afternoons, must open the window a little for a minute to let the air out before driving off because without the scented air, you can smell the normal fumes given out by the plastics and oils in your car.

Cool bro! ircNo freshners especially if we use the ciculated air function. Also read up the manual and they say best is use the natural air from outside while turning on the air-con. In Singapore? How to use man? Air is so polluted even worse when I work in Tuas area. Yee!

Yes..some batch of Cerato got no air-con filter..can buy Hepa brand filter..supposedly good..not sure in wat way....I'm using it.. hehe.. HEPA is not a brand la bang. HEPA is a type of filter that medical standards use. It is able to filter out even small particles the size of a bacterial.

ya...i think you're right la bro, i stop using air freshner few months ...i notice no bad smell from air-con when you first start the car. now only use spray... My only indulgence is to replace the default aircon filter with a HEPA one. Not too sure if there are any real benefits but feel more shiok knowing you are more "protected" lor ... ;D

I had tried to turn the temp. knod to 10~11 oclock position, notice that the fc have improved ,but its a bit warm especially in the afternoon lo. will monitor the fc again on the next tank During noon time turn ur centre knob to "max a/c" and 1 step down for temp range. It'll helps to cool down faster. Try to wind down ur window for a few min when moving off, it'll helps to dissipate hot air faster.
