Bro Cut into CF, I scare of cracks. Workshop will hav to be really experience to do it. This shop dun provide hood pins installation too. Pt to note for any bros who intend to install CF/ fiber bonnet is tat there is a chance of warping during motion/ speed, causing the bonnet to be unlock from our stock catch. So if wana install CF bonnet, better to have hoodpins (expecially for CF scoop type due to the uplift force) Think if really wana buy, stock bonnet should put at home? During inspection then can swap back during DIY session, etc? For yours if change to CF, i think no issue man. Should be able to sell off yours if u dun intend to keep. jemjem

Checked with the guy. No vented hood for cerato. Saw other makes and they r really spoilt for choices... Makes me full of envy. price wise also cheaper for other makes....

It's all becoz there's not much demand for Cerato CF hoods..o they don't dare to bring in large quantities or with variations...scared nobody will buy...I will consider once my vitamin 'M' is enuff...but definitely not now..

Icic.. Main thing abt vented or scoop is cos I find cerato engine bay very hot. Can leave my car in MSCP for 2 hrs after driving and the engine bay is still warm... hoping to find ways to cool it.. think it can giv better performance too. checked out engine oil cooler b4 but hope to change to a vented/ scooped CF hood.. heehee.. looks cooler... jemjem

Warming up the engine??? Think for cerato, the temp too high for sg weather ba. Most of the time when we warm up car, main reason is to have the engine oil very slightly warm up and ensuring its circulating the engine block? In sg, need to warm up to to gain "heat" jemjem jemjem

Hi all bros
I have checked with ampex and this is their reply for CF bonnet:
"Hi Do you think it is possible to get more than 10 persons at least for the bonnet. I can get the factory to customize a design for u guys. But I would require a deposit of 50% upon completion of GB and the 20% upon agreement of design the rest of the 30% upon collection. For my part, I will still get a pc of the OEM one to do a test fit for you guys. Kind Regards, Lawrence "
I think that if we can get 10 persons, we can really customise a vented CF bonnet for cerato. looks promising for his reply. What do you all think?
