Hi guyz, Been seeing replica Bride Low Max (my fav) reclinable bucket seats being sold in other forums like SHC recently...not sure where they got them frm...the price 2nd they're selling still quite high..abt $550 a piece with double locking sliders... The original no need to talk...super expensive..cannot afford.. ..So looking for next best thing..i'm sure this seat is sold in JB somewhere out there...anyone seen b4?..I'm sure it's cheaper there...Juz intend to get for driver only...The only glaring noticeable difference..the replica's exposed shell is black plastic..the ori is yellow carbon kevlar...but tat can be corrected.. Do let me knw if anyone got lobang..anything less than $400 I will consider...no need for railings/ sliders..Juz the seat itself..

I reckoned seeing them at Kuantan... But not sure whether the real deal or the replica... Both looks identical... Well, at least to me...

what is the difference between replica and original? i read somewhere that replica bucket seat will give way, for eg, the railings or the neck rest etc, in the event of a major accident.. while original will protect the driver? how true is that?

Difference shd be quality... But in the event of an accident, event the original can cause fatality..
Nothing will protect the driver, only prevent serious injury..

Nothing will protect the driver, only prevent serious injury.. i see.. btw, how to tell the difference? looks the same.. It looks similar from the front... I think what differentiates it is the rear shell.. Original one is carbon kevlar whlist replica set shd be PVC or FRP(Fibre reinforced polyester)...

Yeah...Real one is the whole seat is Carbon Kevlar...but only the rear exposed part can be seen... ....Tink the crucial part abt aftermarket seats is the railings...Coz some railings look quite flimsy...If buckle, this shd be the weakest point...Seats itself shd not be tat bad...So, maybe put on good, sturdy rails with double locking sliders...
