Wow, that's kinda troublesome for DIY. And risky too! Guess I will just let the expert handle it....

No problem..I share wat i've experienced.. ..Tink for spraying headlamp, max is abt 2hrs if weather is good.. Hi Bro, may I know how much for the headlamp spray? thks For TRC spraying of headlamp is RM80 but i suggest you not to go there as heard their spraying of headlamp no good, water will go in as they nc seal the headlamp properly and last thing was you got to wait wait and wait.. Their business damn good.. I hav been with them for years but i think i got to start looking for new workshop already..

Hi all, I'm new here... I would like to share my experience with this workshop TRC, I'm not trying to tarnish the name of this workshop, but it had left a bad scar on me. Like everyone does, will try to check out the best for value workshop across the causeway. So after following my friends to this workshop a few times, I decided to enage their service. I bought a voltmeter and oil temp gauge in Sin, afterwhich went over to JB early in the morning. Things to do, install the votmeter, oil temp and an interior lightings which i had bought in Autobas. I was told by TRC Mr Wong that I also requiried an adaptor for the oil temp gauge. However I did not have it. Mr wong showed me an adaptor and so all in with the adaptor, i was quoted RM190. Happily left my V2 with TRC and had breakfast nearby. Mr Wong was working on the installation on the gauges and a malay chap working on the lightings. 2 hrs later, I was told by Mr wong that the lightings not working, they had installed it wrongly(cut the 12v plug and installed directly = voltage too high, blow the whole lightings) $50 gone... so LL. But the gauges were working... so i paid Mr Wong RM170. One month later, I went to C&C for my 10k service, to my surprise, I was told that my vehicle''s engine oil level was very low, they made a check and discovered that the e oil was leaking from the oil drain plug area. The cause? My oil temp sensor was installed there, in place of the OEM oil plug. I was told to redo asap the oil temp senor and monitor the leaking. Went back after my servicing with C&C, for the next few days, I placed newspaper underneath the oil drain plug and indeed it was leaking badly. Went to Super Modern after friend's recommendation, to my surprise No.2, I was told that there was no adaptor installed for my oil temp gauge (at the oil filter). I'm very furious as I was told by TRC Mr Wong that he will install the adaptor and I had paid RM170 for all the installation. My conclusion, instead of saving, I had to spend more, I was also cheated by TRC. Those visiting TRC, just BEWARE!!

Bro Eastwind, Sorry to heard about your bad experience but it's good to share with bros around. Maybe just some doubts after read through ur post, - I tot all lighting for car is between 12-14v? u mean they cut away the fuse which coz ampere too high? - I never install oil temp gauge/sensor so not sure where it suppose to install. they install in wrong place or did not lock the oil plug properly? OT abit, C&C unable to solve the oil leaking? - Super modern told u no adaptor installed at the oil filter, will it be the C&C doing ur 10k servicing the time, accidently remove the adaptor while change ur oil filter? btw, without the adaptor, can the gauge works before u went for 10k servicing? - since u follow ur fren went to TRC for few times, what ur fren did for his car and any -ve feedback about the shop from ur fren? My personal experience about this shop is ICE installation only (score 3.5-4 out of 5), so unable to comments on other installation which maybe out of their technical knowledge. Hope the above question can lead to u to know more about ur bad experience. imho, It's encourage to be a "supervisor" to monitor what they do at the same time u can know more about ur car in case u want some DIY session in future. U can leave ur car to them with 2 conditions; the shop is ur gd fren shop and highly reputable, and/or if u want to take ur own risk especially JB. Just my 2 cents. bro

Anyone out there have any good workmanship and resonable price workshop recomment. Earlier all my mod was done at TRC but deciding to use other workshop instead of TRC. The first time i send my PICA to TRC for installing the body kit and spoiler. the spoiler was difference to the one he show it to me earlier. That does,t matter. I chin chai accept it . The paint work is not good . Got tear. never mind . Ok Chin Chai . During installing the spoiler , the drill bit broke while drilling my back door. The broken piece drop inside the door . they argue that the broken piece had taken out. The day after when ever i open my back door , a clin cling sound inside. The next sat, i went to TRC to paste solar firm . I show them the sound by open up and down the door. Than they open the door pastic cover to take out broken drill but break the rubber stopper. At first the guy try to use super glue without my aware to stick it back . Luckily i was there watching them. They promise that they were get me one for replacement. Few month later still no replacement. I went to C&C to buy one. Luckily not very expensive , only $10 ++ . Honestly specking . Their parts and labour cost is resonable but only the work not good enough.

TRC and Moffiz price comparing . TRC is still cheaper than Moffiz. I went to Moffiz to install the fog lamp. They burn the buld of my switcher .Secondly, they run the wire by frying across the engine without any insulator. Soon nor later , the wire sure melt. Too no care attitude. Moffiz Charge me RM80 for installing the fog lamp without removing the bumper. TRC qoute me RM50 but they ask me to get LTA to remove my (OPC)number plate seal so that they can take out the bumper.
