Hi Kit71, Managed to find a workshop to convert 2WD to 4WD (not approved by LTA). But too expensive liao (abt 10K+), looks like better option is to save up for the next machine with 4WD. 2WD, fortunately it's a front wheel drive. The additional 10k+ to convert if added to original car purchase price coul dhave gotten the 2.7L which comes with electronic AWD. In my opinion, better off to get another vehicle, plus it's non LTA compliant, every 2 years inspection will be troublesome. Unless the workshop can help you settle your inspection hassle free. well many people doubt the capability of a 2WD ... its actually more than enuff for serious "off-roading" ... provided the driver is skilled lah and of cos must not have sympathy towards the engine and car ... to be safe ... you need a winch mod ... winch + 2WD + ballz of steel = serious fun off-roading = less balance in the piggy bank ...
