if i may just add, i personally don't recommend using WD40 as WD40 has the property of leaving a thin layer of lubricating oil film on sprayed surface which will cling to surface. this will coat the MAP sensor which is not good for your A/F ratio. you can remove the MAP sensor(2 screws) easily but i feel getting dedicated throttle cleaners(as oppose to multipurpose lub/anti-corrosion/cleaner) would do the job better and cost lesser. many brands to choose from, but my take is just choose the cheapest as they are all solvents for degreasing only.

Yeah, good point to add.. Once u sprayed WB40 into the int manifold, good to clean the MAP sensor.. Easily accessible..

i just bought 1 can of cleaning spray from autobacs eunos. its a korean brand, Bullsone i think. it cost $6.80 and its a very big can. can use for two or three applications depending on how dirty your tb is. this is the third can i bought so far and it does a decent job. its a clear liquid so it lets you see how much carbon you are removing when it drains out of the tb looking like black ink.
