Hi all,
I have collaborated with Roy and Kevin in coming up with a new mapping package <QFR>. This package has special tuning to cater to the 'high' air volume created by RISK.
For upgrade from QF to QFR - $100.00
For direct QFR package - $480.00
QFR will be treated like QF on it's transfer conditions and such.
Kindly call me for an appointment.
Thanks and safe driving.

Joey, I feel the differences that you share with me.. I can feel the lower gear power and the rolling is even further... It's definitely better than qf

Just got QFR today too. Main difference I feel is that the torque is more linear. Even at low RPM the pickup is there. Really complements RISK.
Will update more when I manage to burn off my full tank of RON 92 and top up with 95.

I think it gets better after 1 full tank. I feel a smoother drive after driving one full tank. Low end torque feels better.

okok.. hehe.. QFR here i come! Errr... i dun think u can do QFR. Only QF cos i dun think ur ride is RISKed. QFR is exclusive to RISKed rides.

Meaning if u do QF now den get ur ride RISKed, u need to pay another $100 for e update of RISK map.

Basically, if you intend to do QFR, you need to get RISK first, then do QFR. But judging from the comments from bros who have first done it, the improvement is very good.
It definitely will be worthwhile to get both upgrades. No point restricting to only one..

thats what im going to do, 1) RISK then do 2) QFR... just wondering if C&C will void my warranty since my car is still 1st year (warranty for 5yrs), and also the maintaining of the RISK, what do we have to do?!

Basically, RISK only involves the changing of the air filter. There is not other components involved in it.
QFR, as you know it, is completely stealth.

Thanks for all your support. compliments bro joey... its hard to have a reputable workshop to assist in R&D for such product, esp its 'invented' by a group of car owners... somemore willing to do software tuning to match his mod... too bad i broke liao..due to other committment lately.... if not, i will like to try this for fun...

oh..so if i wanna do QFR for my stock forte.. i need to pay $580 nett?

Post by picanyeo on Apr 27, 2012 19:50:40 GMT 8
Nope.. If you are doing QFR directly, you pay $480. Meaning you are stock, you went to install risk, you pay $480 forQFR.
If you are already on risk and QF(general), you pay $100 to upgrade to QFR.
So there are only 2 prices for QFR, $480 (new) and $100 (upgrade)

So it means that now I'm on RISK and if I do QFR, it will be $480 right?

Yes.. That's right. It's recommended to tune your ECU to risk to extract the maximum benefits.
In this way, you will get to enjoy RISK in another way.
I did my QF (no R) and I now find my ride very enjoyable to drive. It seems to be more agile than before and eager to move off from stationary. Low end torque has also improved alot.
Hence, I would go for QFR if I have risk on my ride.

I a bit confused. I got RISK and wanna do QF for my ride. how much I pay?

without RISK = QF with RISK = QFR (480) with RISK & QF = QFR (100 upgrade)
correct or not huh?! wahaaa, i dont have any of it yet.
