Ya ....... beside the standard road sign informing you of the camera zone. The map also mark down zone per users input.(A Forum) of frequent road block lor There is this group of GPS user who started the Malsing Map Forum....... any GPS software that incorp Malsing Map have this feature. The POI also mark all over Spore-Mal ........ from the best Mee Rebus to Bak Tut Teh to Dosai ......... When you enter NSE, PAPAGO add rest point info.......how many km to the next rest point. I love it....... Smart phone is good ...... this is better ....... some more my smart phone data is turn off when overseas ........ Speed cameras & road blocks info from yr Papago? Wow!

PAPAGO is the GPS software, many GPS PND works well with this software. Interestingly, I did not mention about the brand I use because I 1-to-1 exchange with manufacturer 3 times. I think the hardware got issue. Now OK alredi, hardware quality issue. The customer service very good laaa........ Any idea which GPS brand and model uses Papago Based Interface? Oh no no ....... GPS brand are like Shinco, Garmin, Akai, Marbella, Mio, Holux, etc ....... They provide the hardware and they license the software like PAPAGO, MapKing. With exception to Garmin which do their hardware and software themselves. I heard Garmin is good and expensive. While I dont encourage software piracy....... However, the Garmin map files are very very hard to hack lor compare to PAPAGO and MapKing. Malsing Forum do provide Garmin map update ......... However, you need to provide 5 new POI or something to get a free upgrade. PAPAGO even give free upgrade of software & Map...... My recommendation for GPS software : 1st PAPAGO X8 2nd PAPAGO X5 Distance 3rd MapKing Landmark (They seems to stop provide SLA Map since June 2011)....Hmmmmmm So any hardware brand that uses these software ....... can buy lor..... The market price range from $139 to $189 ....... 4.3" screen is just right ......... no need to go for 5, 7" screen ........(you dont want the car behind to know where you are going......heeeee) For driver that need to drive in the crowded and jammed city area ....... Since 2010, LTA transmit TMC signal ....... basically it is a real time broadcast of the traffic speed for almost every major road in Singapore. End user do not need to pay a fee to use the service. You only need to buy a TMC enable GPS PND. The software Galactio, it is a GPS software that use the TMC info to route your destination ...... to avoid all the jam. TMC even send info like how many car park lot in ..... say Suntec City for example. A typical price is about $299 to $399........ with a TMC enable GPS PND. All in all ...... when buying a GPS PND ....... make sure you see the SLA logo (Singapore Land Authority) and Malsing Map. No SLA Logo means likely no carpark road info ......... GPS show you the main road and you figure our how to get to that HDB block ...... Most smallest of the small road is missing. No Malsing Map ........ you reach Genting instead of Malaka ...... ya.......something like that....... Isnt there a brand of GPS call 'Papago'? i used to see this brand in major IT stores...

Just check if your console GPS is a WinCE 6.0 Operating System, then try to estimate the LCD resolution of your system .........
I dont know about PAPAGO ........ Mapking do offer free trial version for user like your situation ....... GPS Software so so .......
Also go to the GPS configuration setting, check if your GPS software file is something dot EXE. If yes, most likely it is a WinCE OS........
Most of these console run on WinCE ....... FYI.......
